About me
I am interested in the development of statistical methods for complex mathematical structures arising in the health sciences and biological studies. My work focuses on Phylogenetic Trees, aiming to design tools that are both rigorously grounded and suited to the characteristics of real-world data. My work has introduced a new metric space that offers an intuitive interpretation of distances between trees, and supports a reasonable summary of tree collections. Ultimately, my work seeks to improve the interpretability and reliability of phylogenetic analyses by introducing well-founded statistical concepts.
